The the large cone shaped structure on the propodeum clearly separates these two species from other southeast Asian Dolichoderus.

Description

Worker

(figs. III-32, III-33): Medium-sized to large species; body, including dorsal alitrunk, pilose. Pronotum unarmed or shoulder edges expanded cone-like; mesonotum in profile only weekly convex; propodeum dorsomedially bearing a typical, large, ± pointed cone. Petiolus flattened.

Queens and Males are unknown.
