- Type-material: holotype male, 4 paratype males, paratype workers (number not stated), 1 paratype queen.
- Type-locality: holotype Brazil: São Paulo, Pindamonhangaba, 3.vii.1940 (Schwarzmaier), paratype workers, paratype males with same data but some iii.1949, or ii.1950, paratype queen Brazil: Distrito Federal, Santa Cruz, 5.vii.1935 (Silva).
- Type-depository: MZSP.
