  • truncatidens. Eciton (Labidus) truncatidens Santschi, 1920d: 367, fig. 4 (m.) FRENCH GUIANA.
    • Type-material: 9 syntype males.
    • Type-locality: French Guiana (= “Guyane française”; not “Guinée française” as printed (= Guinea, West Africa): St Jean du Maroni (Le Moult).
    • Type-depositories: MHNG, MSNG, MZSP, NHMB.
    • [Note: according to Horn & Kahle, 1935: 152, the remaining syntypes should be in MNHN.]
    • Combination in Labidus: Borgmeier, 1953: 13.
    • Status as species: Borgmeier, 1955: 124 (redescription); Kempf, 1960e: 387; Kempf, 1972a: 128; Watkins, 1976: 8 (in key); Bolton, 1995b: 220.
    • Distribution: French Guiana.
