  • Type-material: holotype worker, 15 paratype workers.
  • Type-locality: holotype Morocco: High Atlas of Marrakech, Tizgui, nr Amezmiz, 1400 m., 9.v.1983 (X. Espadaler); paratypes with same data.
  • Type-depositories: MNHN (holotype); XEPC (paratypes).
  • Status as species: Cagniant, 2006a: 197; Borowiec, L. 2014: 105; Barech, et al. 2020: 16.
  • Distribution: Morocco.
