    • Type-locality: holotype Suriname: La Poulle, viii.1959 (XVa) (J. van der Drift); paratypes: 79 workers with same data, 2 workers Suriname: Dirkshoop, v.1959 (J. van der Drift), 11 workers Dirkshoop, x.1959 (J. van der Drift).
    • Type-depositories: MZSP (holotype); MZSP, TBON (paratypes).
    • Status as species: Kempf, 1972a: 156; Bolton, 1995b: 290; Palacio, 2019: 621.
    • Distribution: Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Suriname.
