  • aciculatus. Odontomachus aciculatus Smith, F. 1863: 19 (w.) INDONESIA (Misool I.). Subspecies of cephalotes: Emery, 1887b: 428. Revived status as species: Wilson, 1959a: 489. Senior synonym of aeneus: Brown, 1976a: 102. Material of the unavailable name verticillatus referred here by Wilson, 1959a: 489. See also: Brown, 1976a: 123.
  • aeneus. Odontomachus aeneus Emery, 1911b: 534 (w.) NEW GUINEA. Junior synonym of aciculatus: Brown, 1976a: 102.
