This taxon is a junior homonym and has been replaced by Orthonotomyrmex (a subgenus of Camponotus).

  • ORTHONOTUS [junior homonym, see Orthonotomyrmex]
    • Orthonotus Ashmead, 1905b: 384. Type-species: Formica sericea, by original designation. [Junior homonym of Orthonotus Westwood, in Stephens, 1829: 344 (Hemiptera).]
    • Orthonotomyrmex Ashmead, 1906: 31, replacement name for Orthonotus Ashmead.
