Description

DIAGNOSIS Somewhat similar to Pheidole fimbriata. Known only from the minor, which is readily distinguished from all other Pheidole species by its tiny eyes, yellow color, angulate anterior dorsal margin ofthe propodeum in side view, elongate petiolar peduncle, very loosely rugoreticulate dorsum of the head, and rugoreticulate anterior and lateral edges of the pronotum.

MEASUREMENTS (mm) Holotype minor: HW 0.48, HL 0.52, SL 0.44, EL 0.02, PW 0.32.
