  • longispina. Polyrhachis schlaginhaufeni var. longispina Viehmeyer, 1912: 12 (w.) NEW GUINEA. [Misspelled as longispinosa by Emery, 1925b: 187.] Subspecies of aurita: Bolton, 1995b: 352. Junior synonym of aurita: Kohout, 1998: 510.
  • schlaginhaufeni. Polyrhachis schlaginhaufeni Viehmeyer, 1912: 12, fig. 16 (w.) NEW GUINEA. Combination in P. (Chariomyrma): Emery, 1925b: 187. Subspecies of aurita: Viehmeyer, 1914b: 54. Junior synonym of aurita: Kohout, 1998: 510.
