  • longipes. Polyrhachis longipes Smith, F. 1859a: 140 (w.) INDONESIA (Aru I.). Combination in P. (Myrmhopla): Emery, 1925b: 195.

The following notes on F. Smith type specimens have been provided by Barry Bolton (details):

Holotype worker in Oxford University Museum of Natural History. Labelled “Aru. 18” (= Aru I., New Guinea) and with a Donisthorpe type-label.
