Identification

A member of the Polyrhachis parabiotica species group.

P. paracamponota is allied to Polyrhachis parabiotica from the Philippines, but differed in having the pronotum armed with two humeral teeth, not spines.

Chen et al. (2013) suggest this species belongs to Camponotus rather than Polyrhachis.
