Subspecies of striatus: Emery, 1894c: 199. Revived status as species, senior synonym of latitans and material of the unavailable name muelleri referred here: Kempf, 1951: 79.
  • latitans. Procryptocerus striatus r. latitans Forel, 1912e: 206 (w.) BRAZIL. Junior synonym of adlerzi: Kempf, 1951: 79.
