    • Type-material: holotype worker.
    • Type-locality: Australia: Western Australia, stat. 76 Day Dawn, 1905 (Michaelsen & Hartmeyer).
    • Type-depository: unknown.
    • [Note: Taylor & Brown, 1985: 42, report that the holotype (Hamburg Museum) was probably destroyed in World War II.]
    • Forel, 1915b: 11 (m.).
    • Combination in Rhytidoponera: Emery, 1911d: 38.
