Description

Worker

Holotype. TL 2.2, HL 0.58, HW 0.40, CI 69, ML 0.24, MI 41, SL 0.32, SI 80, PW 0.25, AL 0.60. Characters of godeffroyi-complex. Cephalic dorsum with pair of erect hairs closest to midline on occipital margin short stiff and erect, straight to shallowly evenly curved but the apical half not abruptly curved anteriorly nor looped. With head in full-face view the dorsolateral margin posterior to the flagellate apicoscrobal hair lacks stiffly projecting cylindrical hairs that contrast with the narrowly spatulate marginal hairs anterior to the flagellate hair. Ground-pilosity on pronotal dorsum and sides fine and dilute, not appearing as a pelt. Dorsum of pronotum without flagellate hairs apart from the humeral pair. Pleurae and side of propodeum mostly to entirely smooth, any reticulate-punctate sculpture present is confined to periphery. Propodeal declivity with a broad and very conspicuous lamella, the propodeal teeth only weakly expressed (may be vestigial) and forming the flat top of the lamella in profile; dorsal surface of propodeal tooth not surmounted by a convex crest or ridge of spongiform tissue. Disc of postpetiole unsculptured; dorsum of petiole node almost equally smooth, at most with faint vestiges of superficial sculpture but not reticulate-punctate. Basigastral costulae conspicuous but not extending half the length of the tergite.

Paratypes. TL 2.1-2.2, HL 0.56-0.60, HW 0.38-0.42, CI 67-70, ML 0.21-0.24, MI 38-41, SL 0.32-0.33, SI 79-84, PW 0.24-0.25, AL 0.57-0.60 (6 measured).
