Nomenclature
The following information is derived from Barry Bolton's Online Catalogue of the Ants of the World.
- carli. Acromyrmex lundi subsp. carli Gonçalves, 1961: 152.
- [First available use of Acromyrmex lundi st. pubescens var. carli Santschi, 1925a: 385 (w.) BRAZIL (Pará: Mexiana I., Pará); unavailable (infrasubspecific) name.]
- [Note: Santschi, 1925a: 385, gives “Isla mexicana” as type-locality. This would appear to be a misspelling of Ilha Mexiana, in Pará.]
