    • Type-material: 6 syntype males.
    • Type-locality: Ivory Coast: (no further data) (Delafosse).
    • Type-depository: NHMB.
    • Subspecies of moebii: Wheeler, W.M. 1922a: 754.
    • Status as species: Santschi, 1920d: 370; Santschi, 1924b: 204; Bolton, 1995b: 60.
    • Distribution: Benin, Ivory Coast.
