Dave:Dave:interesting copyright/use/citation information from Fishbase http://www.fishbase.org/search.php#cite

I did not realize this page was in place when I created a new copyright page.

I have added this simple statement to the new, and much more involved Antwiki:Copyright page. I feel like this statement is great, and in the spirit of K.I.S.S. would love to leave this as the only and final word about copyright but.....

I think we need to provide better guidance for:

  1. the group of editors that might not understand how they can share some previously copyrighted material
  2. as a means of protecting the site from editors that might want to disregard copyright altogether - if we do have to close someone's account for copyright related abuses, we can claim that we explained in some detail what editors needed to try to do concerning copyrighted related issues
  3. to explain how Antwiki material can and cannot be reused

If we all end up agreeing that this topic needs to be fleshed out more, we can set up a redirect from this page to Antwiki:Copyright.
