  • planus. Camponotus planus Smith, F. 1877a: 83 (w.) ECUADOR (Galapagos Is). Wheeler, W.M. 1919c: 287 (s.w.q.m.). Combination in C. (Myrmorhachis): Emery, 1920b: 260; in C. (Myrmocladoecus): Wheeler, W.M. 1924a: 118. Current subspecies: nominal plus fernandinensis, fidelis, hephaestus, indefessus (unresolved junior homonym), isabelensis, peregrinus, pinzonensis, sansalvadorensis, santacruzensis.
