Rosumek (2017) assessed trophic resource use and period of activity within the ant community in a southern Brazil Atlantic forest. This species apparently has its distribution restricted to southernmost Brazil. In this study it was found to concentrate on crushed insects and sucrose and was a nocturnal forager.
