Nomenclature
The following information is derived from Barry Bolton's Online Catalogue of the Ants of the World.
- moqorensis. Crematogaster moqorensis Pisarski, 1967: 394, figs. 37-49 (w.m.) AFGHANISTAN.
- Type-material: holotype worker, 17 paratype workers, 1 paratype male.
- Type-locality: holotype Afghanistan: Manmak (A317), between Moqor and Qalat, 1700 m., 10.ix.1957 (K. Lindberg); paratypes with same data.
- Type-depositories: ZMLS (holotype); MIZW, ZMLS (paratypes).
- Combination in C. (Crematogaster): Bolton, 1995b: 166.
- Status as species: Bolton, 1995b: 158.
- Distribution: Afghanistan.
