Identification
Longino (2003) - A Crematogaster crinosa-complex species, C. peristerica requires further taxonomic study. I found eight worker Syntypes of Menozzi's peristerica at DEIC, simply labeled “Typus,” with no other label data. The specimens had a completely striate face, but were otherwise like Crematogaster torosa.
