- Type-material: holotype worker, >12 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen.
- Type-locality: holotype Malaysia: Sarawak, 1st Division, Semengo Forest Reserve, ca 19 km. SW Kuching (1°33’N, 110°20’E; ca 2 km. S of 10th mile Bazaar, on Kuching-Penrissen Road), 28.v., RWT acc. 68.121 (R.W. Taylor); paratypes: 4 workers, 1 queen with same data, 1 worker Sarawak, 4th Division, Gunong Mulu Nat.
