  • rubellus. Anomma rubella Savage, 1849: 196 (w.) CONGO.
    • Type-material: syntype workers (number not stated).
    • Type-locality: Congo: Mpongive Dist., “banks of the Gaboon River, near the Equator” (T.S. Savage).
    • Type-depository: ANSP (perhaps also OXUM as some specimens were sent to J.O. Westwood).
    • Combination in Dorylus (Anomma): Emery, 1895j: 710.
    • As unavailable (infrasubspecific) name: Santschi, 1910c: 352; Santschi, 1912b: 157 (in key); Wheeler, W.M. 1922a: 740; Santschi, 1925h: 160; Raignier & van Boven, 1955: 24, 72.
