    • Type-material: syntype workers (number not stated).
    • Type-locality: Panama: area above confluence of Boqueron and Pequeni rivers, tributaries of the Chagres, 15.xii.1947 (T.C. Schneirla).
    • Type-depositories: AMNH, MCZC.
    • Reichensperger, 1934: 240 (q.).
    • [Note: queen associated with conquistador by Borgmeier, 1955: 266; previously misidentified as lucanoides by Reichensperger, 1934: 240.]
