- Type-material: holotype male, 6 paratype males.
- Type-locality: holotype Brazil: Amazonas, Trapiche, 14.iii.1931 (R.C. Shannon); paratypes: 2 males Peru: Tingo Maria, 700 m. (Weyrauch), 1 male Peru: Tingo Maria, Huanaco, 3.iv.1939 (Woytkowski), 1 male Bolivia: Chaparé, 400 m., 5.xii.1949 (Zischka), 2 males Bolivia: no. 11864 (no further data).
- Type-depositories: USNM (holotype); CASC, MZSP (paratypes).
