  • allognathum. Eciton vagans subsp. allognathum Borgmeier, 1955: 239, pl. 17, fig. 7; pl. 19, fig. 13; pl. 64, fig. 2 (s.m.) VENEZUELA.
    • Type-material: holotype male, 3 paratype males.
    • Type-locality: holotype Venezuela: Caracas, 1921 (A.J. Carranza Rojas); paratypes with same data.
    • [Note: Borgmeier also mentions 1 worker major: Venezuela: Puerto Cabello, 1893 (Sievers), in MZSP; this specimen apparently not included in the type-series.]
    • Type-depositories: MZSP (holotype); MZSP, USNM (paratypes).
    • Subspecies of vagans: Kempf, 1972a: 103; Bolton, 1995b: 184.
    • Distribution: Venezuela.
