Summary
Head of Myrmecia pavida ergatandromorph in frontal view. The long, dentate worker mandible contrasts enormously to the short male mandible. As well, the worker antennal scape is very long, that of the male side is short. A lateral ocellus is present in the male side; it lacks in the worker side. Remarkably, the median ocellus is well developed.
