Specimen Label

Found in low to premontane jungles.

Identification

A member of the porcata subgroup (in the striatula species group). Similar to Holcoponera striatula; four to six transverse costulae on anterior pronotal face, rest of mesosoma with longitudinal costulae; longitudinal costulae on anterior face of postpetiole; body dark brown to black, legs brown. (Lattke 1995)
