Keilbach, Rolf (1908-2001)
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Rolf Keilbach (28. June 1908 in Cottbus, † 24. September 2001 in Greifswald) Was a German Entomologist and Zoologist.
Rolf Keilbach studied natural sciences at the Universities Innsbruck, Göttingen and Hall. Incidentally, he also attended other subjects such as French, for example, Literary History and Classicism. Since his dissertation on the asymmetric wing position in insects, he devoted himself mainly to entomology. Keilbach was an assistant at the Institute of Geology and Palaeontology University of Konigsberg and subsequently to the experts in Amber enclosed fossil Insects.
