The following information is derived from Barry Bolton's Online Catalogue of the Ants of the World.

  • denticulatus. Labidus nero subsp. denticulatus Borgmeier, 1955: 129, pl. 55, figs. 1-3 (m.) BRAZIL (Pará).
    • Type-material: holotype male.
    • Type-locality: Brazil: S Pará, Serra do Cachimbo, between Xingu and Tapajoz, catchment area of the Tapajoz, 420 m., 9°22’S, 54°54’W, ix.1953, at light (H. Sick).
    • Type-depository: MZSP.
    • Subspecies of nero: Kempf, 1972a: 127; Bolton, 1995b: 219.
    • Subspecies of mars: Nascimento, et al. 2004: 618 (by implication).
    • Distribution: Brazil.
