  • strenua. Formica strenua Haliday, 1836: 329 (w.) CHILE. Unidentifiable to genus; incertae sedis in Formica: Bolton, 1995b: 204. Combination in Lasiophanes: new combination (unpublished), based on purported type-specimen in BMNH; confirmation of type-status required.
