Holotype: HW 0.60; SL 1.05; SI 175.

This is a very densely sculptured opaque species entirely without surface shine on the head or alitrunk. The propodeal spines are long and curved but the petiole teeth are shorter than their intervening space. The dull appearance is due to the close microsculpture, not to pubescence which is sparse.

Holotype: worker, Oman, Jabal Qara, 18.X.1984, J. Darlington.
