Heterick (2009) - Meranoplus similis shares gastral sculpture with Meranoplus rugosus.

Distribution

Heterick (2009) - Found on the western coastal plain between at least Jurien Bay and Bunbury. This species also occurs in the Lake Eyre Basin in SA, from where it was described.
