    • Type-material: holotype worker, 2 paratype workers, 8 paratype queens, 2 paratype males.
    • Type-locality: holotype Singapore: Pulau Sakra, 7.iii.1981, DHM-81-Metapone, decayed coconut stump (D.H. Murphy); paratypes with same data.
    • Type-depository: LKCS.
    • Distribution: Singapore.
