    • Type-material: holotype worker, paratype workers (number not stated).
    • Type-locality: holotype Kuwait: Umm al-Hemam, 9.iii.1988 (W. Büttiker); paratypes: workers with same data, workers Saudi Arabia: Uyaynah, 1.iv.1976 (W. Büttiker).
    • Type-depository: unknown (possibly in WMLC, possibly in NHMB if Büttiker material was returned).
    • Status as species: Collingwood, et al. 2011: 435; Borowiec, L. 2014: 120.
    • Distribution: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates.
