- Type-localities: Sudan (“Anglo-Egyptian Sudan”): Kordofan, El Obeid – Bara , 5.iii.1914 (Werner-Ebner?), Sudan: River Nile State, Atbara, 3.v.1914 (Werner-Ebner?).
- Type-depository: MNHU.
- Subspecies of salomonis: Ettershank, 1966: 89.
