    • Type-material: holotype worker, 19 paratype workers, 2 paratype queens, 1 paratype male.
    • Type-locality: holotype Australia: Australian Capital Territory, 4 km. W Smoker’s Gap, nr Corrin Dam (35/148), ca 3500 ft, 5.ii.1959 (B.B. Lowery); paratypes: 7 workers, 2 queens, 1 male with same data, 5 workers A.C.T., Honeysuckle Creek (35/148), 23.v.1988 (B.B. Lowery), 6 workers A.C.T., Mt Aggie (35/148), ca 5000 ft, 1.i.1976 (B.B. Lowery), 1 worker New South Wales, Mt Kosciusko, Sawpit Creek (36/148), 10.xi.1960 (E.F. Riek).
    • Type-depositories: ANIC (holotype); AMSC, ANIC, BMNH, MCZC, MHNG (paratypes).
