  • montana. Myrmica (Monomorium) montana Buckley, 1867: 339 (w.) U.S.A. [Unresolved junior primary homonym of montana Labram & Imhoff, 1838, pl. 36, figs. 1-3, above (Bolton, 1995b: 281).] Unidentifiable taxon; incertae sedis in Myrmicinae: Smith, D.R. 1979: 1414. Unidentifiable to genus; incertae sedis in Myrmica: Bolton, 1995b: 281. See also: Emery, 1895c: 338; Wheeler, W.M. 1902f: 27 (possible combinations in Pogonomyrmex or Tetramorium).
