  • cornutus. Neivamyrmex cornutus Watkins, 1975a: 92, figs. 1-4 (w.) MEXICO (Oaxaca).
    • Type-material: holotype worker, 8 paratype workers.
    • Type-locality: holotype Mexico: Oaxaca, Tehuantepec, 13.xii.1947 (T. MacDougal); paratypes with same data.
    • Type-depositories: AMNH (holotype); AMNH, JFWC, USNM (paratypes).
    • Status as species: Watkins, 1976: 15 (in key); Watkins, 1982: 212 (in key); Brandão, 1991: 359; Bolton, 1995b: 288.
    • Distribution: Mexico.
