    • Type-localities: Peru: Trujillo, vii.1939, no. 87 (Weyrauch), and Peru: Valle Chicama, 40 km. N Trujillo, no. 151 (Weyrauch).
    • Type-depository: MZSP.
    • Status as species: Kempf, 1972a: 157; Watkins, 1976: 13 (in key); Bolton, 1995b: 290; Bezděčková, et al. 2015: 110.
    • Distribution: Peru.
