Specimen Labels

This species is known to occur in northwestern Madagascar from 100–325 m. Specimens have been collected in tropical dry forests. (Csösz & Fisher 2016)

Vertex sculpture: main sculpture absent, ground sculpture absent, smooth and shiny. Setal pits on head dorsum: inconspicuous with obscure demarcation. Etymology

This name (longiceps) refers to the relatively elongated head of workers of this species.
