    • Type-material: holotype worker, 9 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen.
    • Type-locality: holotype Brazil: Mato Grosso, Rio Papagaio, Utiariti (350 m.), viii.1961 (K. Lenko); paratypes with same data.
    • Type-depositories: DZSP (holotype); DZSP, MZSP (paratypes).
    • Status as species: Kempf, 1972a: 206; Brown, 1975: 8; Bolton, 1995b: 336; Wild, 2007b: 40; Feitosa, 2015c: 99.
