    • Type-locality: holotype New Caledonia: Ile des Pins, Baie d’Oupi, <5 m., 22°38’S, 167°32’E, 10.v.1980, acc. no. 7582, on low vegetation, rainforest (P.S. Ward); paratypes with same data but acc. nos 4282-2, 4285-1 (P.S. Ward), workers Ile des Pins, Tribu de Touéte, 10 m., 22°35’S, 167°31’E, acc. nos 4276-2, 4278 (P.S. Ward), workers Ile des Pins, Kuto Peninsula, 15 m., 22°40’S, 167°26’E, acc. nos 4271, 4288, 4289, 4290, 4293-1, 4294-2 (P.S. Ward), 9 workers Ile des Pins, Kuto Peninsula, 1.iv.1977 (W.L. Brown).
