- Type-material: holotype worker, paratype workers, paratype queens (numbers not stated).
- Type-locality: holotype Nicaragua: Matagalpa, RN Cerro Musún, 12.96817, -85.23301 ±20 m., 1060 m., 2.v.2011, montane wet forest, sifted leaf litter (LLAMA, Wm-D-01-1-07); paratypes: with same data but 12.96087, -85.2329±10 m., 750 m., 1.v.2011 (LLAMA, Wa-D-01-1-10), with same data but 12.95884, -85.22486±10 m., 700 m., 1.v.2011 (LLAMA, Wa-D-01-2-14).
