Raised to species and senior synonym of gazella, monticola, silvanus, timida: Cagniant & Espadaler, 1997: 278. Current subspecies: nominal plus trabutii.
  • silvanus. Leptothorax angustulus subsp. silvanus Forel, 1907b: 206 (w.) ALGERIA. Junior synonym of algiricus: Cagniant & Espadaler, 1997: 278.
