    • Type-material: 6 syntype workers, 1 syntype queen.
    • Type-locality: Argentina: Tucumán, Siambon, vii.1933, R.No. 2071 (J. Bosq).
    • Type-depository: NHMB.
    • [Misspelled as bosqui by Kempf, 1972a: 87.]
    • Subspecies of iheringi: Kusnezov, 1953b: 337; Kempf, 1972a: 87; Bolton, 1995b: 149.
    • Distribution: Argentina.
