Specimen Labels

Trophobiosis with membracids, large colonies (Dill 2002).

Dill (2002) - This species possibly represents the workers of Dolichoderus beccarii (see scabridus group). The examined worker populations from Sumatra and Borneo differ regarding the inclination of the propodeal spines. Yet, particularly the length and inclination of the alitrunk spines are generally subject to considerable intraspecific variability in Dolichoderus (see cuspidatus species group, as well as MacKay 1993).
