This taxon was described from Radoboj, Croatia (Burdigalian, Early Miocene) and is knownn from Parschlug, Austria (Serravallian, Miocene).

  • occultatus. †Formica occultata Heer, 1849: 134, pl. 10, fig. 6; pl. 11, fig. 11 (q.m.) CROATIA (Miocene). [Also described as new by Heer, 1850: 134.] Combination in Lasius: Mayr, 1867b: 55. Senior synonym of minutula, pumila, obliterata: Dlussky & Putyatina, 2014: 265. Current subspecies: nominal plus †parschlugianus.
  • minutula. †Formica minutula Heer, 1849: 136, pl. 10, fig. 8 (q.) CROATIA (Miocene). [Also described as new by Heer, 1850: 136.] Combination in Lasius: Mayr, 1867b: 55. Junior synonym of occultatus: Dlussky & Putyatina, 2014: 265. See also: Théobald, 1937b: 319.
  • pumila. †Formica pumila Heer, 1849: 137, pl. 11, fig. 5 (q.m.) CROATIA (Miocene). [Also described as new by Heer, 1850: 137.] Junior synonym of occultatus: Dlussky & Putyatina, 2014: 265.
