  • resinosus. Cataulacus taprobanae var. resinosa Viehmeyer, 1913: 145 (w.) INDONESIA (Sulawesi) (in copal).
    • Type-material: 2 syntype workers.
    • Type-locality: Indonesia: Sulawesi (“Celebes”), in copal (no collector’s name).
    • [Note: during the study Viehmeyer received ants in copal from P. Weidinger, R. Weise, and the company Staudinger & Bang-Haas.]
    • Type-depository: MNHU (second specimen perhaps SMTD).
    • [Misspelled as resinoda by Chapman & Capco, 1951: 86.]
    • Subspecies of taprobanae: Emery, 1924d: 299.
    • Status as species: Chapman & Capco, 1951: 86; Bolton, 1974a: 86; Bolton, 1995b: 139.
    • Distribution: Indonesia (Sulawesi).
