Diagnosis
Orange-brown species with black vertex, very similar in size and colouration to S. fraudator, S. mendax and S. spuria. Diagnostic characters: anepisternum with posterodorsal margin bare, alula partly bare, scutellum yellowish, vertex black, scape twice as long as pedicel.
